Course Id: CFD/Q0001.
Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent.
Objective: The Certified Fashion Designer course is designed to equip aspiring designers with the creative, technical, and business skills necessary to conceptualize, design, and produce original fashion collections. The course covers fashion illustration, garment construction, pattern making, textile knowledge, draping techniques, trend analysis, and digital design tools such as Adobe Illustrator and CAD software.
Duration: Three Month.
How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:
Step 1: Choose the course you wish to get certified in.
Step 2: Click on the “Enroll Now” button.
Step 3: Proceed with the enrollment process.
Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:
Debit/Credit Card, Wallet, Paytm, Net Banking, UPI, or Google Pay.
Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

Duration- 60 minutes.
No. of Questions- 30. (Multiple Choice Questions).
Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 40%.
There is no negative marking in this module.

Module 1: Fundamentals of Fashion Design: Introduction to Fashion Design and Its Scope, History and Evolution of Fashion Through the Ages, Elements and Principles of Fashion Design, Understanding Fashion Categories (Haute Couture, Ready-to-Wear, Mass Market), Fashion Terminology and Vocabulary, Role and Responsibilities of a Fashion Designer.
Module 2: Textile Science and Fabric Knowledge: Classification of Natural and Synthetic Fibers, Fabric Construction Techniques (Woven, Knitted, Nonwoven), Fabric Properties and Their Impact on Design, Fabric Identification and Usage in Garment Construction, Sustainable and Technical Textiles in Fashion, Textile Sourcing and Sampling Methods.
Module 3: Fashion Illustration and Concept Development: Drawing Fashion Croquis and Body Proportions, Garment Detailing and Rendering Techniques, Color Theory and Fashion Sketching, Mood Boards, Storyboards, and Concept Boards, Digital Illustration Tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate), Developing a Fashion Collection Theme.
Module 4: Pattern Making and Garment Construction: Introduction to Pattern Drafting Tools and Terminology, Basic Bodice, Skirt, Sleeve, and Pant Drafting, Drape vs Draft Methodologies, Sewing Techniques and Garment Assembly, Fit and Alteration Processes, Quality Standards and Finishing Techniques.
