Course Name: Diploma in HVAC Installation & Maintenance
Course Id: DHI</Q0101.
Eligibility: 10th (High School) or equivalent is required.
Objective: The Diploma in HVAC Installation & Maintenance is designed to provide students with practical and technical expertise in heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems. The course covers essential topics such as refrigeration principles, air distribution, ductwork design, load calculation, electrical controls, system troubleshooting, energy efficiency, and safety practices. Students also gain hands-on training in the installation of HVAC units, preventive maintenance techniques, repair work, and compliance with industry standards.
Duration: 400 hrs (Equivalent to One Year)
How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:

Step 3: Proceed with the enrollment process.
Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:

Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.
Online Examination Detail:
- Duration- 120 minutes.
- No. of Questions- 60. (Multiple Choice Questions).
- 10 Questions from each module, each carry 10 marks.
- Maximum Marks- 600, Passing Marks- 40%.
- There is no negative marking in this module.

Module 1: Fundamentals of HVAC Systems
Introduction to HVAC industry, Principles of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, Types of HVAC systems (residential, commercial, industrial), Components of HVAC systems, Basics of thermodynamics in HVAC, Heat transfer concepts, Refrigeration cycle overview, Indoor air quality and ventilation, Energy efficiency in HVAC, Safety practices in HVAC operations.
Module 2: HVAC Equipment and Components
Air conditioners and chillers, Boilers and furnaces, Compressors and condensers, Evaporators and expansion devices, Air handling units (AHU) and fan coil units (FCU), Ductwork and piping systems, Thermostats and control systems, Pumps, motors, and drives, Filters and air cleaning devices, Tools and instruments used in HVAC maintenance.
Module 3: Installation Practices
Site assessment and preparation, Reading HVAC blueprints and diagrams, Equipment positioning and mounting, Duct installation techniques, Piping and insulation methods, Electrical wiring for HVAC systems, Refrigerant charging and handling, Testing and commissioning HVAC systems, Safety protocols during installation, Documentation and reporting.
