Eligibility: 10th (High School) or equivalent is required.

Objective:This course is designed to provide learners with the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent, respond to, and manage fire-related incidents and a wide range of emergency situations. It covers fire behavior, safety regulations, emergency planning, risk assessment, evacuation procedures, and disaster response strategies. The course aims to build competence in safeguarding lives and property, promoting awareness, and ensuring preparedness in both public and workplace settings.

Duration: 400 hrs (Equivalent to One Year)

 How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:

 Step 1: Choose the course you wish to get certified in.

 Step 2: Click on the “Enroll Now” button.

 Step 3: Proceed with the enrollment process.

 Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.

 Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:
Debit/Credit Card, Wallet, Paytm, Net Banking, UPI, or Google Pay.

 Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.

 Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.

 Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.

 Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

Online Examination Detail:

• Duration- 120 minutes.
• No. of Questions- 60. (Multiple Choice Questions).
• 10 Questions from each module, each carry 10 marks.
• Maximum Marks- 600, Passing Marks- 40%.
• There is no negative marking in this module.

Introduction to fire safety and prevention, Fire science and combustion process, Types and classes of fire, Fire behavior and spread patterns, Fire safety regulations and standards, Role of fire services, Fire risk assessment, Fire prevention strategies, Career opportunities in fire safety, History and evolution of firefighting.

Module 2: Fire Detection and Protection Systems
Fire detection systems (smoke, heat, flame detectors), Fire alarm systems, Sprinkler and suppression systems, Portable fire extinguishers and their use, Fire hydrants and hose reels, Passive fire protection techniques, Emergency lighting and signage, Maintenance of fire safety equipment, Safety protocols during fire incidents, Case studies of fire protection systems.

Module 3: Firefighting Techniques and Equipment
Personal protective equipment (PPE), Breathing apparatus and usage, Firefighting tools and appliances, Water supply and hose management, Pump operations and hydraulics, Techniques for extinguishing different types of fires, Ventilation and smoke control, Rescue operations during fire, Fire drills and simulations, Use of foam and chemical extinguishing agents.
