Overview of the FMCG industry, Characteristics of FMCG products, Importance of QA/QC in FMCG, Differences between QA and QC, Quality policy and objectives in FMCG companies, Regulatory bodies (FSSAI, BIS, ISO), Product life cycle and quality checkpoints, Role of QA/QC personnel in FMCG, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Total Quality Management (TQM) principles.
Module 2: Raw Material and Packaging Material Quality Control
Specifications for raw materials in FMCG, Testing methods for raw materials, Acceptance sampling techniques, Quality standards for packaging materials, Inspection and verification of packaging supplies, Supplier audits and evaluation, Storage conditions and shelf-life management, Traceability of materials, Rejection and non-conformance handling, Documentation of material inspection.
Module 3: In-Process Quality Assurance and Good Manufacturing Practices
