Eligibility: 10th (High School) or equivalent is required.

Objective: This course aims to introduce students to the ancient science of Jyotish Shastra, focusing on the study of planetary positions, zodiac signs, nakshatras (lunar mansions), and their influence on human life. It covers the interpretation of birth charts (kundali), prediction techniques, and remedial measures.

Duration: Three Months.

Planets and Their Significance: Detailed study of nine planets (Navagrahas), Natural and functional benefic and malefic planets, Planetary strengths and weaknesses, Retrograde and combust planets, Planetary aspects (Drishti), Planetary conjunctions and their impact, Planetary friendship and enmity, Effects of planets in different signs, Role of exaltation and debilitation, Planetary periods (Dasha system) – introduction.

Rashi and Bhava Analysis: Twelve zodiac signs and their ruling planets, Movable, fixed, and dual signs, Classification by elements (fire, earth, air, water), Lagna (Ascendant) and its importance, Twelve houses and their meanings, Bhava chart vs Rashi chart, House lordship and its effects, Relationship between planets and houses, House significators (Karakas), Importance of house strength.

Birth Chart Preparation and Interpretation:  Casting a horoscope using birth details, North Indian and South Indian chart styles, Understanding degrees and planetary positions, Identifying Lagna, Moon sign and Sun sign, Interpretation of planetary placements, Yogas and Doshas in horoscope, Importance of divisional charts (Vargas), Introduction to Navamsa chart, Basics of predictive techniques, Practical exercises in chart analysis.
