Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent.
Objective: The Certified Industrial Safety Specialist course is designed to equip participants with in-depth knowledge and practical skills to manage occupational health and safety risks in manufacturing, construction, and heavy industry settings. The course covers hazard identification, risk assessment, safety inspections, accident prevention, emergency preparedness, fire safety, machine safety, confined space entry, PPE usage, and safe work procedures. Participants will also gain an understanding of safety regulations and standards such as OSHA, ISO 45001, and relevant national laws.
Duration: Three Month.
How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:

Step 3: Proceed with the enrollment process.
Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:
Debit/Credit Card, Wallet, Paytm, Net Banking, UPI, or Google Pay.
Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 40%.

Module 1: Fundamentals of Industrial Safety and Legal Framework: Introduction to industrial safety principles and practices, Importance of safety culture in industrial settings, Overview of occupational health and safety laws and regulations (OSHA, Factories Act, ISO 45001), Roles and responsibilities of an Industrial Safety Specialist, Accident causation theories and prevention strategies, Industrial safety policies and organizational safety goals.
Module 2: Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment in Industry: Types of industrial hazards: physical, chemical, biological, mechanical, ergonomic, Techniques for hazard identification: safety inspections, JSA, HIRA, Risk assessment methodologies and prioritization of risks, Use of risk matrix and hazard rating systems, Control measures and the hierarchy of controls, Documentation and communication of risks.
Module 3: Industrial Fire Safety and Emergency Preparedness: Common causes of industrial fires and explosions, Fire prevention and protection systems (detection, suppression, alarms), Classification and use of fire extinguishers, Emergency planning: roles, responsibilities, and evacuation procedures, Conducting mock drills and response training, Coordination with emergency services and first responders.
Module 4: Safety in Industrial Operations and Equipment Handling: Machine guarding and safe operation of industrial machinery, Lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and energy isolation, Electrical safety and high-voltage equipment precautions, Material handling safety and ergonomics, Safety during maintenance, shutdowns, and confined space entry, Use and inspection of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Module 5: Incident Investigation, Reporting, and Analysis: Steps in accident and incident investigation, Data collection techniques: interviews, site analysis, documentation, Root cause analysis tools: 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, Fault Tree Analysis, Report writing and documentation of findings, Developing corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA), Learning from incidents to prevent recurrence.
Module 6: Safety Audit, Inspection, and Continuous Improvement: Types and objectives of safety audits and workplace inspections, Preparing checklists and audit plans for compliance verification, Conducting safety performance evaluations and walkthroughs, Identifying nonconformities and initiating corrective actions, Promoting worker participation and safety awareness programs, Continuous improvement through data analysis and safety metrics (KPIs).
