Objective: The Certified Biomedical Waste Management Specialist course is designed to train professionals in the safe, compliant, and efficient handling of biomedical waste in healthcare and laboratory settings. The course covers comprehensive topics including types and categorization of biomedical waste, segregation protocols, color-coded disposal systems, transportation, storage, treatment, and final disposal as per national and international regulations (such as BMW Rules, 2016).
