Eligibility: 10th Grade(High School) or Equivalent.
Duration: One Month.
Objective: The objective of this course is to provide learners with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in the processing, preservation, packaging, and marketing of agricultural food products. The course covers raw material handling, food safety standards, value addition techniques, and entrepreneurship to enable participants to develop or manage agri-food processing ventures.

Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

Introduction to Agri Food Processing: Plantation crops, fruit crops, sugarcane, cereals, pulses, millets & grams, spices & condiments, vegetables, dry fruits.
Food Safety and Hygiene: Introduction to food safety, material handling, pre production processing, production, holding, serving/ catering/ dining & transportation, personal hygiene, support services.
Fruit and Vegetable Processing: Supply chain of fruits and vegetables, primary processing of fruits and vegetables, minimal processing of fruits and vegetables, preservation by chemicals, special packaging systems, storage of fruits and vegetables, need for testing of food.
Agriculture and Raw Materials for Food Processing: General conditions for cultivation of crops, soil and plant nutrition, plant protection, categories of pesticides and precaution, farm management, occupational health and safety.
Food Quality Control and Assurance: Introduction, scope of food quality and food safety, food quality, food safety, food laws and regulations, food safety and hazards in foods, chemical hazards in foods, sanitation and cleaning program, equipment cleaning and sanitizing, effectiveness of cleaning and sanitizing.
