How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:

Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.
Online Examination Detail:
- Duration- 120 minutes.
- No. of Questions- 60. (Multiple Choice Questions).
- 10 Questions from each module, each carry 10 marks.
- Maximum Marks- 600, Passing Marks- 40%.
- There is no negative marking in this module.

Introduction to Law & Legal Systems: Courts and alternative dispute resolution, court procedures, intellectual property & computer law, criminal law and procedures, agreement, consideration, legality and statute of frauds, performance and discharge, breach of contract and remedies, administrative law, consumer protection.
Law of Patents, PPVFR and Trade Secrets: Basics of trade secrets, trade secret management program, misappropriation of trade secrets, violation of trade secrets.
Introduction to IP, Copyright and Designs: Copyright & computer software, Indian scenario, basis of protection, software protection under copyright, arguments against software patenting.
Law of Trademarks and Geographical Indications: Protection of geographical indications on the national level, protection of marks, duration, renewal and amendment of registrations, transfer of rights in a mark, international registration of marks, geographical indications, defense of right in marks and geographical indications.
Litigation and Dispute Resolution: Introduction, advantages and disadvantages of litigation, the constitution of India, the judiciary, jurisdiction.
Management of IPRs: Introduction, copyright, patent, trademark, designs, geographical indications, perspective of IPR, types of intellectual property, patent database and patent information system, preparation of patent documents.
