Eligibility: 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent is required.
Objective: The objective of the Certificate in Banking & Financial Services course is to equip learners with a strong understanding of banking principles, financial instruments, and the functioning of the Indian and global financial systems. The course covers essential topics such as retail and corporate banking, savings and loan products, digital banking, risk management, financial inclusion, and regulatory bodies like RBI and SEBI.
Duration: Three Months.
How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:
Step 1: Choose the course you wish to get certified in.
Step 2: Click on the “Enroll Now” button.
Step 3: Proceed with the enrollment process.
Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:
Debit/Credit Card, Wallet, Paytm, Net Banking, UPI, or Google Pay.
Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

Duration- 60 minutes.
No. of Questions- 30. (Multiple Choice Questions).
Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 40%.
There is no negative marking in this module.

Module 1: Introduction to Banking Sector: Overview of Indian and global banking systems, Functions of commercial banks, Role of RBI and other regulatory bodies, Types of banks – public, private, cooperative, foreign, Introduction to banking products and services, Banking terminologies and abbreviations, Financial inclusion and priority sector lending, Retail and corporate banking, Digital transformation in banking, Emerging trends in the banking sector.
Module 2: Financial Services and Products: Overview of financial services industry, Types of financial products – deposits, loans, insurance, investment services, Mutual funds and SIPs, Credit and debit cards, Demat and trading accounts, Microfinance and non-banking financial companies (NBFCs), Wealth management and financial planning, Risk and return analysis, Financial advisory services.
Module 3: Banking Operations and Procedures: Account opening procedures and KYC norms, Cheque handling and clearing systems, Fund transfer systems – NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, Cash handling and teller operations, Loan processing and documentation, Customer service and grievance redressal, Core banking solutions (CBS), Digital banking operations – net and mobile banking, Compliance and audit requirements, Back-office and front-office operations.
Module 4: Regulatory Framework and Compliance: Reserve Bank of India regulations, Banking Regulation Act and important provisions, Anti-money laundering (AML) and combating financing of terrorism (CFT), KYC guidelines and customer due diligence, Credit Information Companies (CIBIL, Experian), Financial consumer protection laws, BASEL norms and their implications, Corporate governance in banks, Ethics and integrity in financial services, Overview of SEBI, IRDAI, and PFRDA regulations.
Module 5: Financial Markets and Instruments: Introduction to financial markets – money and capital markets, Primary and secondary markets, Money market instruments – treasury bills, commercial paper, call money, Capital market instruments – stocks, bonds, debentures, Introduction to stock exchanges – NSE, BSE, Role of depositories – NSDL and CDSL, Investment strategies and portfolio management, Foreign exchange markets and currency trading, Interest rates and monetary policy, Derivatives and hedging instruments.
